FACE: MAC Pro Longwear Concealer

I decided to try another concealer…. by accident really, on a recent trip to repurchase my staple NARS Creamy Concealer, it was out of stock!

I have heard pretty good things about the MAC Pro longwear concealer and I am please to say it does live up to the claims I have heard.

Here’s my unconcealed eye bags…

And hey presto ….here are the results of the magical MAC Pro Longwear Concealer…

My shade is NC45. The above pictures are taken in different lighting so you can see how well it applies.

I went into my local MAC store bare faced and as is the norm, the MAC store was heavingly busy.

I tried a few shades ….went outside to see how the shade faired in natural light (don’t be afraid to do this, that’s what testers are for and you will never get the right shade by testing on the back of your hand!)… I got my match.

The formulation comes contained within a bottle with a pump, and is creamy in consistency, with light reflecting particles (as confirmed by the helpful assistant in store).

The consistency is very deceiving, a little product goes a long way, so I am steadily practising using controlled efforts when using the pump on this bad boy.

Which nicely brings me on to my one and only dislike about the product it’s packaging, the pump. If you press too firmly on the pump too much of the product comes out which can make it prone to a little wastage.

Other than this I like the concealer it gives long lasting all day wear and is not drying at all, it’s a good runner up to my normal favorite and will definitely be a repurchase, it is also a tad cheaper at £17.

Thanks for reading….
