My birthday is well and truly over, and the month of July is sadly drawing quite quickly to close.

The pictures above shows you one of the lovely gifts I received from my bestie.

It was purchased from a company called handmadecharlie.

My necklace is handmade from: sterling silver, fabric, paper and resin. It’s lovely to know I’m wearing something which has not been machine produced.

Designs are based on old fashioned florals and fabrics. (I love the vintage inspiration!).

The website confirms all jewellery is made by the owner, Charlotte – in the lovely city of Birmingham, UK.

Whilst there is a website and ETSY to buy other designs, I’ve noticed Charlotte also makes good use of the popular areas in and around Birmingham to sell her jewellery such as Moseley arts market, regular Digbeth market events – check out the twitter @handmadecharlie for updates.

I think jewellery by handmadecharlie are gorgeous pieces and make lovely gifts for family and friends.

It’s worth taking a look at the website and if you live in or near Birmingham or are ever visiting Birmingham I think it would be worth checking out handmadecharlie.

Thanks for reading …
